Every client, project and site comes with a unique set of design opportunities & constraints. We work with our clients in developing a budget and analyzing their functional & spatial requirements. We identify possible project constraints and provide our clients with information about the process and costing expectations so that they can make informed decisions. Rather than dragging our clients along, we explain to clients the rationale behind our design decisions, integrating them into our design team.

Developing an idea that informs the design is what we are most passionate about. We don't enforce a specific style or provide our clients with cookie cutter ideas. Our designs are specific and unique, informed by their social and physical context. We live design, participate in design education and international workshops. This commitment lends us the ability to show our clients the latest trends, cutting edge sustainability strategies and solutions and the latest fabrication techniques. More importantly, we can then implement those ideas into your project.

We go well beyond the hand sketch, using the latest tools to identify and analyze all elements which may factor into the design of your building. We then make informed and detailed recommendations concerning scheduling, design, sustainable strategies and costing. From sun studies to envelope performance, we leave little to the imagination during the design process to give our clients a polished end product.

Our process is holistic and addresses the 3 key components of any sustainable project. Human wellness, building performance & community connection. All three are intertwined and codependent. As stewards of our environment and our communities, and as part of an industry which is the largest contributor to landfill waste, sustainability is of the highest importance to us.

_See your project before it's built

Most of our clients find it difficult to imagine their project from architectural plans. We do everything in 3D, but more importantly we provide our clients with near real-life experiences of the spaces we design. It's what separates us from our peers. Lighting, furniture, materials are all depicted in their true form. It makes communication of ideas simple and takes the guess work out of the process.  Clients know exactly what their spaces will look and feel like before construction begins.
